Terms and Conditions
By using this website you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.
About the site
printertutor.com (“the site”) is operated as PrinterTutor. The site publishes general educational lessons about setting up, using, maintaining and troubleshooting printers. It does not sell products or services.
General guidance, not professional advice
Lessons are general and educational. Printers differ by brand, model, firmware and age, and operating systems change between versions, so steps and menu names may not match yours exactly. Follow your printer’s manual and the manufacturer’s instructions where they differ.
Your responsibility
You decide whether and how to follow a lesson. Follow the safety notes, switch off and unplug the printer where a lesson says to, let laser printers cool, and stop if something doesn’t look right. Never open covers that need tools, bypass safety switches or install software from unofficial sources.
Acceptable use
You may read, print and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy lessons to other websites, scrape the site in a way that disrupts it, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use the site for anything unlawful.
Intellectual property
The text, design, logo and illustrations on the site belong to PrinterTutor unless stated otherwise. Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only for identification. Their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
Links to other websites
We link to official manufacturer, Microsoft and Apple pages for reference. We don’t control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Accuracy and availability
We work to keep lessons accurate and current, but we can’t promise every detail is complete, current or error-free, or that a step will solve your problem. We may change or remove content at any time, and the site may sometimes be unavailable.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is provided “as is”, and PrinterTutor is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including damage to printers, computers, data or property. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
